I'm a Cloud & DevOps Engineer and Consultant at Avanade with over 10 years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions — primarily on Microsoft Azure. I'm a proud Microsoft Azure MVP and Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), recognised for my community contributions and technical expertise across the Azure ecosystem.

I specialise in Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and building resilient production systems. I'm passionate about platform engineering — from AKS cluster design to full observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana. I also contribute actively to open source, including k8s-lab (multi-node Kubernetes development clusters) and prometheus-lab (a full monitoring stack with Alertmanager and Grafana).

Originally from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰, I'm now based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands 🇳🇱. This blog is where I share hands-on guides and real-world lessons from the field — covering Azure, Kubernetes, DevOps, and everything in between. My goal is to make complex cloud concepts practical and accessible for engineers at every level.
